We thought there wouldn’t be much to talk about today but boy were we wrong. Orophen is hosting today, joined by Frei and Yelta. Rubicon’s a bit under the weather and can’t come out into the sunlight, and we thought Calaera wouldn’t show up, but like the assassin that she is, she drops in on us right in the middle of the episode. The upcoming PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIV will have it’s own separate interface, created from scratch from the ground up, according to the latest issue of Famitsu Magazine. This special console-only UI has been labeled the “Cross Hot Bar”, based on early reports. There aren’t any specifics on this interface just yet, but the issue of Famitsu Magazine in question contains a Staff Q&A focused on the developers of FFXIV, so more information should be provided soon.
