Yeah, so, I planned on creating a FFXIV based comic here a long while ago. But with how busy I am these days, that probably won’t happen. More than likely this section will be removed from the site some time soon, so no one will read this section and get their hopes up anymore >_> So sorry for the not-having-of-the-comic. It still might be possible that the comic may appear elsewhere as part of another project some time in the future. We’ll try to keep you updated if that happens.

I’ve always been interested in doing comics. When I was in high school, I actually drew comic books using my classmates as actual characters. It’s been a very very long time since I’ve drawn seriously, although it’s something I’ve always thought about to be honest. My interest was especially sparked after Calaera purchased one of the latest Wacom tablets for me for our anniversary. I don’t know what I did to actually deserve that to be honest. Most of my days are spent devising ways to make her squeal in frustration at my antics. But since she did something so incredible, I thought it only fitting that I do something with it. I decided that maybe it was time to give drawing comics a go again.

And so, Zantetsuken will have its own official web comic! My intention is to show what’s going on with the development process way before the first comic even comes out. So you’ll get to see my sketches, ideas and plans, maybe even give a little input on things if there’s enough interest in what’s going on. The plan is to make the whole development process as transparent as possible from start to finish. I don’t have anything to show at the moment, but my first order of business will probably be to create some character sketches, since I already have an idea of what characters I want to use. The web comic itself will be related to Final Fantasy XIV since, of course, we’re an FFXIV blog. So yeah, keep watching this space for updates. I hope to get started on things really soon!
