Itching for more FFXIV news at Gamescom 2012? New screenshots and concept art have surfaced today, and you can see more of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn in all its updated graphical glory. The screenshots depict a variety of gameplay elements, including pieces of the ui, characters in battle, explosive battle effects, and jumping chocobos. Including in this batch is concept art of Elezen racial armor, similar to the Hyur and Miqo’te racial armor shown at Japan Expo 2012.

So far, it’s definitely looking like a step up from the version 1.0 we’ve all come to know and love. We’re following Gamescom 2012 closely for any more news that might pop up, so keep an eye on Zantetsuken.net so you don’t miss out on anything!
