Event

  • [dev1345] Players can now redistribute attribute points. To do so, speak with the guild NPC in charge of exchanging guild marks while in possession of a copy of the Keeper’s Hymn. You will be given the option to undo point allotment for your current class in exchange for the item.

Battle

  • [dev1346] Action icons on the action bar will now blink if activation conditions are fulfilled for the following actions:

    Haymaker / War Drum / Phalanx / Fracture / Overpower / Feint / Full Thrust

    * Based on this change, action icons for combo fulfillment now also blink.

  • [dev1352] Changes have been made to the following actions:
    Job Action Change
    Paladin Cover - Recast time reduced from 180 to 60 seconds.
    - Effect duration reduced from 20 to 15 seconds.
    Divine Veil - Recast time reduced from 120 to 60 seconds.
    - Effect duration reduced from 30 to 20 seconds.
    - Blocks all physical attacks from the front.
    - Healing over time effect granted by Cure and Cura now stacks with the white magic spell Regen.
    * Healing efficacy reduced in exchange for longer effect duration.
    Spirits Within - Recast time reduced from 120 to 60 seconds.
    - Revised effect:
    Delivers a high-accuracy melee attack at close range. Increased damage with greater current HP.
    Combo Action: Phalanx
    Combo Bonus: Increased enmity.
  • [dev1353] The following notorious monsters no longer drop dated items.

    Prince of Pestilence / Cactuar Jack / Phaia / Unknown Soldier / Spitfire / Kokoroon Quickfingers / Old Six-arms

So here we are, finally on the eve of Patch 1.21. There certainly is a lot here to look through. Maintenance is still going on as we speak, and the patch won’t be live until 5:00pm PST this evening.
