- New promo video.
Grand Company Page Update: Skirmish at the Cieldalaes
- The exercises are set to be held upon Turtleback Island and Locke’s Lie—two uninhabited isles belonging to the Cieldalaes.
Tanaka says Thank You and Goodbye (FFXI)

Event
- New quests, new GC quests (To Kill A Raven), new faction leves.
- Skirmish has been added (Storm Captain Loetahlsyn in Limsa Lominsa)
- Caravan rewards adjusted (mush be ACTIVE!)
- More items can be put in armoire
Battle
- Enemy placement adjusted for many areas
Item
- Several new items, several new recipes, new spoils for Expeditionary missions, recast time changed on Giant’s Drink and Muscle Restorative, more items can be made into materia, more items are meldable, Sanction scroll added for GC seals.
System
- Achievement for Handle with Care III, Achievement interface updated, new areas added for player search, Skirmish can be set for recruit party, recruitment objective renamed for Primal to Primal/Nael van Darnus, micro menu changes, new auto translation terms

What are you on?
How come you guys kept repeating that the servers are going down in 4 weeks? Where is this info you are referring to?
Yoshida hinted at a possible alpha phase at the end of September, thats 8 weeks right there, then he said servers would stay up till open beta, so with a few months+alpha+closed beta = long time, possibly another 4 months of XIV 1.xx, we may even get a Halloween event still.
Plus if you play through the newest story, expect patches 1.23a,b,c to have juicy cut scenes.
P.S. You guys seen the battleships in the sky of Coerthas? ^^

  We will correct this error on the next episode or add a note at the beginning of this current episode. :) Thanks. I think some may have just remembered it wrong and thought it was beginning of September. I think the realization of, “Oh shit it’s coming!” probably has me jumping the gun sooner than need be. It seems weird then that three month pay blocks ended not too long ago if we still have four months left…

    There does remain the ‘oddity’ of announcing that last day of Legacy eligibility was May31st. I think a lot of people just added 90 days to that date and came up with a servers going down date.

      He did say somewhere that he’d have to bring the servers down for the transfer that’d take about ~2-4 weeks before Alpha/Beta.
      I bet it’ll happen at the end of Sept., latest.
